Since their official debut in January, Midnight Conspiracy have maintained a steady upward momentum in the international electronic music scene. Their latest remix, a spacey synth-heavy update of Crystal Castle's classic "Crimewave", released in support of the band's new album and HARD Summer Tour, reached the #2 spot on Hype Machine's most popular chart--TWICE. The song joins the ever-growing list of MC's other successful offerings, including a dreamy dubstep re-imagining of Esser's pop anthem "Headlock", which was featured on BBC Radio 1 on the Kissy Sell Out Show, and an italo-banger version of Chromeo's "Night by Night", which also reached the Top 5 of Hype Machine's most popular charts twice.
Co-conspirators Graham Cody, Louis Kha and Mikul Wing aren't slowing down any time soon. In the coming month, Midnight Conspiracy are set to release a new Crystal Castles remix of their song "Vietnam", as well as official remixes for the Editors and a sexed up track from Lucky Date. In the meantime, the boys are hitting the road for their first official tour. The Dead Fame Tour kicks off on May 7th in Phoenix, AZ and will conclude with a huge party like only Midnight Conspiracy can throw in their home base of Chicago on June 26th.
Combining the riotous energy of Members Only AV’s underground parties with the polished production work of La Dolce Vita, Midnight Conspiracy have rocked Chicago's dance scene with their epic parties Delorean Nites at Lincoln Hall and Die Tonight at Beauty Bar, filling each to capacity and then some. In less than a year, they’ve brought their dirty electro rock to parties at SXSW in Austin and WMC in Miami, as well as gigs across the U.S. alongside the likes of Crystal Castles, MSTRKRFT, A-Trak, So Me, DJ Funk, Bassnectar, Bloody Beetroots, Treasure Fingers, The Faint, LA Riots, Le Castle Vania, Designer Drugs, Villains, Danger and Computer Club to name a few. In addition to Delorean Nites and Die Tonight, they maintain prestigious Chicago residencies at Spybar, After Dark at The Art Institute of Chicago and Disappear Here.
