When Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire arrives, he comes heavy. Both times I've seen him in the past month, he's arrived on stage with a sizable crew, most of who don't do anything at all. There were so many people on stage for this particular set, it might as well have been a roundup of every single person that paid to see Avatar. So the scene was chaos, to the point where doofuses surrounding me couldn't tell "who was rapping." As for the performance from the man himself: for a while, I thought, "he's been better"-- more efficient, pointed, entertaining. Then, he leaped into the audience and delivered multiple bars from within the crowd, keeping his flow intact as arms and legs flailed around him. Respect to that.
