Making a name for themselves by relentlessly touring the Midwest and beyond for the last 5 years, Chicago based Strange Arrangement is a 4-piece progressive funk rock band focusing on songwriting and composition. With each set they perform being different from the one before it, Strange Arrangement places an emphasis on creating a moment in time where the audience is as much a part of the experience as the band. Bouncing from funk, to calypso, to latin, to rockabilly, to electronic, to rock, a Strange Arrangement set will utilize funny and heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies, and out of the box time signatures to make each performance unique in its own way.

The past year found Strange Arrangement being included in Chicago's WXRT 93.1 FM's best of 2011 and being named Home Grown Music Network's band of the year. An alternative outlet to the ever growing electronic jam scene, Strange Arrangement is a welcome breath of nostalgic style jam rock concentrating on quirky and heartfelt lyrics, out of the box time signatures, and 70's characteristic type progressive sections.
